The Piscataway High School Air Force JROTC program delivered an engaging and energetic presentation for Quibbletown Middle School eighth-graders, offering a firsthand look at the opportunities and experiences the program provides!
The event included an impressive performance by the color guard and drill team, whose precision, discipline, and coordination immediately captured students’ attention.
Quibbletown students then rotated through a series of interactive stations designed to highlight different aspects of the program, which teaches leadership skills alongside aerospace science and physical training. Instructors emphasize high standards in citizenship, leadership, and scholarship. Student cadets incur no military obligation whatsoever.
Other popular activities were a tug-of-war and an obstacle course, where students had the opportunity to test their agility, strength, and determination. Participants challenged themselves and encouraged one another through each element.
Throughout the presentation, AFJROTC members spoke about their experiences, emphasizing the strong sense of camaraderie, leadership development, and personal growth that comes with participation.
