Students from Quibbletown Middle School had an incredible enrichment opportunity to see STEM and sports come together through engaging, hands-on activities!
About 30 students visited the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on the campus on Montclair State University, where they saw how math and science play a role in the world of athletics, from using radar technology to explore the physics of baseball to analyzing data of stadium concession sales.
As Yogi Berra said, “You can observe a lot by just watching” and our students did just that while discovering the real-world connections between science, data, and the game of baseball.
